Does the free plan include video on demand?
No. The free plan is live streaming only. The library, the TV station and your own TV app start on Starter, at $29 a month with 50 GB of space.
Why don't you re-encode my files?
Re-encoding costs quality and time, and it hides what is wrong with a file instead of telling you. A file in the format above plays everywhere as it is, so what you check on your screen is what your audience gets.
How large can a file be?
Up to 100 GB each. The total is your plan's library: 50 GB on Starter, 200 GB on Pro and 2 TB on Platinum.
Is the library delivered by the CDN too?
Yes. Every file plays from the nearest of our 5 cities, and the transfer counts against the same monthly allowance as your live channels.
Can I sell or restrict access to videos?
Every file gets its own player and embed code, and you choose where you put them. Platinum adds VAST ads for the TV station. For anything more particular, ask us in the live chat before you order.
