AMD dedicated server hostingEPYC and Ryzen, with nobody else on the machine

An AMD dedicated server from Server Room is a whole physical machine on an AMD processor: a Dell PowerEdge node with one or two EPYC 7003 CPUs, a Ryzen AI board, or an Opteron blade for lighter work. There is no hypervisor and there are no neighbors. You get root, an unmetered port and our own network, AS19624.

  • Single tenant
  • Unmetered port
  • Root access
  • Month to month

Choose the processor, memory, disks and port speed in the configurator. A ready AMD server goes live about 30 minutes after your payment is approved. A custom build takes 4 to 24 hours.

EPYC dedicated server

The EPYC 7003 machines, processor by processor

EPYC 7003, code name Milan, is AMD's third EPYC generation and runs Zen 3 cores. Each socket has eight DDR4-3200 memory channels and 128 lanes of PCIe 4.0, so memory bandwidth and slots for GPUs rarely run out before the cores do.

  • One or two sockets. A dual EPYC 7763 node has 128 cores. The 72F3 has eight cores at a 3.70 GHz base clock, for software licensed per core.
  • Up to 1 TB of DDR4. Proxmox VE 9 and VMware vSphere 8 are on the install list, next to Ubuntu 26.04, Debian 13, AlmaLinux 10 and Windows Server 2025.
  • GPUs. The configurator offers 10 GPUs on this line, from the NVIDIA L4 and RTX 5090 to the H100 80GB and the AMD Instinct MI210.
  • Ports up to 20 Gbps. 1 Gbps is included and 10 Gbps costs $529 a month more. Every speed is unmetered.
  • Out-of-band console, confirmed at order time. Every EPYC machine is built to order, so its console is confirmed with your order. It lets you reach the machine when its operating system cannot.

Each price is a complete monthly build: the processor, 32 GB DDR4, 1 × SATA-SSD 240 GB, a 1 Gbps unmetered port, Basic management and one IPv4 address. Add memory, disks and GPUs in the configurator. EPYC machines are built to order within 4 to 24 hours, with a one-time $29 setup fee. Locations: New York, Bucharest.

We do not rent EPYC 9004 or 9005 (Genoa or Turin) machines. If your work needs DDR5 or PCIe 5.0 on an AMD server, this line is not it.

AMD Ryzen dedicated server

Ryzen AI machines: fast cores, DDR5 and an NPU

Our AMD Ryzen dedicated servers are two Ryzen AI boards, rented whole. They give up the EPYC line's core count and memory ceiling for Zen 5 cores that boost to 5.1 GHz, DDR5, and a Radeon GPU and a 50 TOPS NPU on the same chip.

Specification Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Ryzen AI Max+ 395
Cores1216
GraphicsAMD Radeon 890MAMD Radeon 8060S

Memory128 GB DDR564 GB DDR5
StorageOne NVMe slot: 1, 2 or 3.84 TB
Operating systemFedora 43, with root

Memory usually settles the choice. The HX 370 holds twice as much RAM, so it runs the larger model. The Max+ 395 has the faster GPU and more cores. With one NVMe slot there is no RAID on either: if you need redundant disks, take EPYC.

Answers

AMD dedicated server questions

What is an AMD dedicated server?

An AMD dedicated server is a physical server with an AMD processor that one customer rents whole. Here that means an EPYC 7003 node with one or two sockets, a Ryzen AI machine, an Opteron blade server or the four-core Opteron X2150 cartridge. Each comes with root access and an unmetered port, and nothing else runs on it.

How much does an AMD EPYC dedicated server cost?

The cheapest complete EPYC build is $217.59 a month: AMD EPYC 7413 (24C, 2.65 GHz), 32 GB DDR4, 1 × SATA-SSD 240 GB and a 1 Gbps unmetered port. It is built to order, so the first invoice adds a one-time $29 setup fee. The table on this page prices every EPYC processor in one-socket and two-socket builds.

Which AMD EPYC processors can I rent?

The EPYC 7003 series: the 7763 with 64 cores, the 7513 with 32, the 7413 with 24 and the 72F3 with 8 cores at 3.70 GHz. Each comes in one-socket or two-socket builds on Dell PowerEdge C6525 nodes. We do not rent EPYC 9004 or 9005 machines.

Do you rent AMD Ryzen dedicated servers?

Yes, two of them: the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 with 128 GB of DDR5 and the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with 64 GB. Both have one NVMe slot, a 1 Gbps unmetered port and Fedora 43 with root. They are offered in New York, Miami, San Francisco, Bucharest and Amsterdam, and the Ryzen AI page lists their prices.

EPYC or Ryzen: which is better for a dedicated server?

EPYC is the choice for cores, memory and expansion: up to 64 cores and eight memory channels per socket, with room for GPUs and several drives. Ryzen AI gives faster single cores, DDR5 and an NPU in a smaller machine with one NVMe slot. Put databases, virtualization and GPU hosts on EPYC. Inference on small models, CI runners and game servers often run well on Ryzen.

How fast can I get an AMD server?

A ready server ordered as it stands goes live about 30 minutes after your payment is approved. A build to order takes 4 to 24 hours. The live list on this page shows what is on the shelf.

Is bandwidth on an AMD server metered?

The port is unmetered: there is no traffic allowance and no overage charge at any speed. What limits you is the port itself: 1 Gbps included on EPYC, 1 Gbps on Ryzen AI and 500 Mbps on Opteron, with faster ports in the configurator.

Can I put a GPU in an AMD EPYC server?

Yes. The EPYC line takes 10 different GPUs in the configurator, among them the NVIDIA L4, L40S, A100, H100 and RTX 5090 and the AMD Instinct MI210. For AMD's data center GPU on its own page, see AMD Instinct MI210 servers.
