Cheap GPU dedicated server: a whole RTX 3050 machine, €82.29/mo

Not a slice of somebody else's card, and no meter running by the hour. An Intel Core i5-9500 desktop with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB fitted inside, 32 GB of memory and a 256 GB NVMe SSD, on an unmetered 1 Gbps port in our Bucharest datacenter. Root access, your own operating system, online about 30 minutes after your order is approved.

Why it costs less

A desktop is the cheapest honest way to put a real GPU on the internet

Most GPU servers are priced around cards that draw ten times the power. This one is built around the card instead.

1

The card is yours, whole

It is a physical RTX 3050 in a PCIe slot, and your operating system sees it directly in nvidia-smi. No virtual GPU, no time-slicing, no neighbour sharing its memory.

2

No chassis built for 700-watt cards

The RTX 3050 draws 70 W. It runs happily in a desktop, so you do not pay for the 2U chassis, twin power supplies and heavy cooling that make up much of a big GPU server's price.

3

Flat price, unmetered port

A job that keeps the card busy around the clock costs the same as one that leaves it idle, and nothing counts the traffic leaving the 1 Gbps port. The bill is the same every month.

What it runs

Four jobs a RTX 3050 does well for very little money

Private AI inference

Six gigabytes hold an 8-billion-parameter language model quantised to 4 bits, with room left for its context. Serve it with Ollama or llama.cpp behind your own API key, or transcribe audio with Whisper large-v3 on the card.

Llama 3.1 8B at 4-bit: 4.92 GB of weights

Video transcoding

The card's 6 GB GDDR6 sits beside a 7th-generation NVENC encoder and a 5th-generation NVDEC decoder, so H.264 and HEVC encoding happens in hardware and leaves the processor free. Streams leaving the unmetered port cost nothing extra.

Up to 8 encode sessions at once on driver 550.54.14 or later

A remote workstation with a real GPU

Windows is on the order form, so the machine can be a desktop you reach from anywhere: Blender renders on CUDA or OptiX, and design tools get hardware acceleration instead of a software renderer.

2,304 CUDA cores, 1.47 GHz boost

CUDA development and GPU CI

Write and test kernels, build containers with the NVIDIA Container Toolkit and run GPU tests on every commit, on the same Ampere generation as the A100. Rent the big card only when the code is ready for it.

Ampere architecture, 3rd-generation Tensor cores

Before you order

What this machine is not, so you can buy it with your eyes open

  • Not a training rig

Six gigabytes run an 8B model; they do not fine-tune one in full, and a 13B model at 4-bit (7.87 GB) does not fit. For 24 GB see our RTX 30 series servers, and every card we fit is on the GPU servers page.

  • One drive, no RAID

The 256 GB NVMe SSD holds the system and your data. Keep copies elsewhere, or add the nightly backup offered on the order form.

  • No remote console

A desktop board has no IPMI or iLO. Power-on is remote; if the operating system freezes, our staff in Bucharest reset it for you.

  • One city

Every one of these desktops is racked in Bucharest, in the EU. For other cities, pick a GPU server from the full list.

Questions

Cheap GPU dedicated server: the questions people ask first

Is the GPU really dedicated to me?

Yes. The whole machine is yours: the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB sits in its PCIe slot and is passed to your operating system with nothing in between. No other customer shares the card, its memory or the processor.

What does the monthly price include?

€82.29 a month covers the processor, the graphics card, 32 GB of memory, the 256 GB NVMe SSD, one IPv4 address, an unmetered 1 Gbps port and basic support. A Windows licence, extra addresses, backups and faster support are optional and priced on the order form.

Can an RTX 3050 with 6 GB run a large language model?

Yes, for inference at the 7 to 8 billion parameter size: an 8B model quantised to 4 bits needs about 5 GB, which leaves room for its context. Models of 13B parameters and up need more memory than 6 GB, even at 4-bit.

Which operating systems can I install?

The order form lists the systems for this machine: Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Debian and AlmaLinux, Proxmox VE, and Windows. You get root or administrator access and install NVIDIA's driver and CUDA as on any computer.

How quickly is it ready?

These desktops are already racked, so a machine is online about 30 minutes after your order is approved. The login details appear in your dashboard.

Is the bandwidth really unmetered?

Yes. The port runs at 1 Gbps and nothing counts the traffic in or out, so streaming, model downloads and backups cost the same as an idle month.
