The room
The Bucharest data center is a room we built
In New York, Miami, San Francisco and Amsterdam we lease space in carrier-neutral buildings. Bucharest is different: Server Room designed and built this server room inside Feper Business Center, a business park in Northern Bucharest, and runs it.

Power and cooling
Power is redundant to N+2, so two units can fail and the load still runs. Precision cooling holds temperature and humidity inside the range the hardware is specified for.

Access and surveillance
Entry to the room is authorised by face recognition. Video surveillance runs around the clock, and security staff walk the perimeter every hour.

When something fails
A failed part is replaced within the window of your support plan, counted from when you report it. Downtime past 15 consecutive minutes earns service credit under the SLA.
The network
Test the Bucharest network before you order

Choosing a city
When Romania server hosting is the right call
- Your users are in Romania or South-East Europe. Bucharest is the closest of our five cities to them. Measure it against Amsterdam with the two test addresses rather than taking our word.
- The data has to stay in the EU. Romania has been a member state since 2007, and the machine never leaves the room.
- You want a local company behind the server. Data Room SRL, the Romanian half of Server Room, is registered in Bucharest at the same address as the hall.
